I first met Sami 6 years ago at one of my closest friends hen do and we instantly hit it off, although I think the copious amount of alcohol we drank that weekend probably helped! At the time Sami hadn’t actually met Olly but I remember her coming to Swindon for my 30th birthday and telling me all about this amazing guy she had met. She even knew right from the start she was going to marry him and it seems she was right.
Their wedding was absolutely breath-taking and on the day I was lucky to be able to join in the celebrations as well as capture their special day.
I remember arriving and being blown away by how beautiful Manor By The Lake is and I thanked my lucky stars that Sami had chosen me as her wedding photographer. Sami and Olly were extremely lucky with the weather that day and were able to have an outdoor ceremony which is the stuff us wedding photographers dream of.
Sami chose a vintage theme for her wedding day with a gorgeous gown from Lauren Charlotte bridal although sadly they are no longer is business. Sami also wore a very pretty vintage inspired head-piece, which worked really well with her elegant hairstyle.
Everything about their day was perfect and since then they have had another baby called Bertie, who I photographed with his sister Ruby (pictured below) last month when Sami booked me for a family shoot. Keep your eyes peeled for those images on the blog coming soon. In the meantime, here are some images of Sami and Olly’s Manor By The Lake vintage wedding.
